Ogy Simic is a Greens Councillor representing Gateway Ward in the City of Port Phillip.

 

As someone who arrived in Australia as a refugee, a trained lawyer and a long-standing social justice campaigner, Ogy has worked hard to promote a society with acceptance of human rights at its core.

He is committed to the prioritisation of ecologically sustainable development, greater support of local public services and esuring a safe and inclusive community for all residents.

With previous experience as an advisor to two Federal Senators and with a broad range of NGO's, Ogy has sound experience in governance, project management, campaigning and advocacy.

Ogy's commitment to local community has previously been recognised through his receipt of a Young Citizen of the Year Award.
